Say hello to your new favourite lunch idea—crispy rice waffle topped with tuna, avo, and cucumber… with a cheeky drizzle of tamari + Tabasco to take it up a notch 🔥

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked left over rice

  • 1/4 cucumber, sliced

  • 1/4 avocado, sliced

  • 1 tin tuna, drained (I use the brand ‘Good Fish’)

  • drizzle, tamari

  • drizzle tabasco

  • sprinkle, hemp seeds

Preparation

Step 1

Lightly grease your waffle maker with extra virgin olive oil, then preheat.


Step 2

Evenly press the cooked rice into the waffle maker to form a thin, compact layer.


Step 3

Close and cook for 5–7 minutes, or until golden and crispy.


Step 4

Gently remove the rice waffle and let it cool for a few minutes — this helps it crisp up even more.


Step 5

Top with cucumber slices, avocado, and tuna.


Step 6

Drizzle with tamari, add a dash of Tabasco, and sprinkle with hemp seeds for extra goodness.
