About the Recipe
These beef lettuce cups are the perfect balance of savoury, sweet, and zesty—loaded with protein rich beef, gut friendly tamari, crunchy hazelnuts, and a kick of chilli flakes!
Wrapped in fresh cos lettuce and topped with crisp cucumber and fragrant coriander, they’re light yet satisfying.

Ingredients
500g minced beef
1/2 tsp extra virgin olive oil
1/2 small red onion, finely diced
1/4 tsp celtic salt
3/4 tsp ground coriander
1/2 cup hazelnuts, roughly chopped
1 tbsp tamari
1 tbsp coconut sugar
1 tbsp lime juice
1 cucumber, cut into matchsticks
1/2 cup coriander leaves
dried chilli flakes
2 small cos lettuce
Preparation
Step 1
Heat the olive oil in a skillet over low heat.
Step 2
Once hot, sauté the onion until soft. Add the beef mince, Celtic salt, and coriander, stirring occasionally. Cook until the beef is browned and fully cooked.
Step 3
Stir in the hazelnuts, tamari, and coconut sugar. Toss to combine and cook for another 2 minutes before removing from heat.
Step 4
Add the lime juice and mix well.
Step 5
Time to assemble! Separate the lettuce leaves and fill each one with the beef mixture. Top with cucumber sticks, fresh coriander leaves, and a sprinkle of chilli flakes.
