About the Recipe

This no bake slice is what dessert dreams are made of


Gluten free, dairy free, refined sugar free — but full of that nostalgic Snickers magic

Hot tip: Freeze the slices and enjoy as those cravings kick in — instant satisfaction, no guilt

Ingredients

INGREDIENTS - BASE

  • 1 cup almonds

  • 6 medjool dates

  • 3 tbsp coconut oil, melted

INGREDIENTS - FILLING

  • 1/2 cup peanut butter

  • 3 medjool dates

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/4 cup hot water

INGREDIENTS - TOPPING

  • 1/2 cup peanuts, roughly chopped

  • 1/3 cup melted dark chocolate

Preparation

Step 1

Line a small tray with a silicone mat or baking paper.


Step 2

Add all base ingredients to a food processor and blitz until the mixture sticks together.


Step 3

Press the mixture firmly into the lined tray to form an even base.


Step 4

Add all filling ingredients to the food processor and blend until smooth. Spread over the base and smooth the top with a spoon.


Step 5

Sprinkle half the chopped peanuts over the filling and press them in gently. Pour over the melted chocolate, spreading evenly to cover. Sprinkle the remaining peanuts on top.


Step 6

Freeze for 30 minutes or until set.


Step 7

Slice into squares
