About the Recipe
Indulging in the sweetest moments with these decadent chocolate covered Medjool dates. Perfectly balanced between rich cocoa and luscious dates, a match made in dessert heaven.

Ingredients
1/2 cup cacao powder
1/4 cup pure maple syrup
1/2 cup coconut oil (melted)
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 tbsp crunchy peanut butter
3 tbsp almond butter
20 organic medjool dates
Rose petals for decoration (optional)
Preparation
Step 1
Whisk the cacao powder, maple syrup, coconut oil, and vanilla extract in a medium mixing bowl until well combined.
Step 2
In a small bowl, mix the crunchy peanut butter and almond butter together.
Step 3
Cut a slit in each of the medjool dates and remove the pits.
Step 4
Place some of the nut butter mixture in the slit of each date.
Step 5
Dip the nut butter filled medjool date in the chocolate that was created in step 1.
Step 6
On a lined baking tray (works best with a silicone sheet), place the chocolate covered medjool dates and sprinkle with rose petals.
Step 7
Place in the fridge to set.
