These gluten free, dairy free, and refined sugar free cinnamon baked pears come together in just 5 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 2 pears

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

  • 1/3 cup chopped walnuts

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180ºC.


Step 2

Slice the pears in half lengthwise and carefully scoop out the core to remove all seeds.


Step 3

Place the pears in a baking dish, cut side up. Brush the surface with maple syrup, ensuring some drizzles into the centre.


Step 4

Fill each pear centre with walnuts and sprinkle cinnamon evenly over the top. Cover the baking dish with aluminium foil.


Step 5

Bake for 45 minutes (baking time will vary depending on the ripeness of the pears) until they are tender and caramelised.
