About the Recipe

When matcha met mint… and cacao crashed the party.



Made in the Ninja Creami, it’s the ultimate cool down treat that tastes like dessert and feels like zen.

Bonus: no weird ingredients, just real food

- banana base

- fresh mint + peppermint oil

- matcha for that earthy energy

- cacao nib crunch

Ingredients

  • 3 frozen bananas

  • 2 tsp matcha powder

  • handful fresh mint leaves

  • 5 drops peppermint essential oil - must be food grade

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

  • 1/3 cup cacao nibs

  • 1/2 cup almond milk

Preparation

Step 1

In a high speed blender, combine the bananas, matcha powder, mint leaves, and peppermint essential oil. Blend until completely smooth, slowly adding almond milk as needed to help it blend.


Step 2

Pour the mixture into your Ninja Creami container and freeze for 24 hours.


Step 3

After freezing, place the container into your Ninja Creami and run the 'Lite Ice Cream' cycle. You may need to respin once or twice to reach a smooth consistency.


Step 4

Once you’ve achieved your desired texture, add the cacao nibs and use the ‘Mix-In’ function to evenly incorporate them.
