About the Recipe
Hydrating, refreshing + drizzled with just the right amount of dark choc to keep it cheeky.
Topped with almond butter, fresh berries, coconut flakes + crunchy nuts — this one’s GF, DF, RSF and made for sharing (or not 😉).

Ingredients
1 thick round slice of watermelon (about 2-3cm thick)
2-3 tbsp almond butter
1/3 cup strawberries, sliced
2 tbsp cacao powder
1 tbsp maple syrup
2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
Sprinkle of chopped nuts (almonds, hazelnuts)
Preparation
Step 1
Cut watermelon slice into wedges, like pizza.
Step 2
Pat the surface of the watermelon slice dry gently with paper towel to help toppings stick.
Step 3
In a small bowl, whisk together melted coconut oil, cacao powder and maple syrup until smooth and glossy. If needed, warm slightly to ensure it stays pourable.
Step 4
Spread a thin layer of almond butter over the watermelon.
Step 5
Scatter fresh berries evenly across the top.
Step 6
Drizzle the chocolate mixture over the fruit.
Step 7
Sprinkle with chopped nuts for crunch.
Step 8
Serve immediately or chilled.
Optional: Chill for 15 minutes if you prefer the chocolate slightly set.
Enjoy 💕
