About the Recipe
You can taste the difference when bread is made with real, nourishing ingredients vs. the store bought kind that’s been bleached and stripped of nutrients.
This high fibre, protein packed lentil bread rolls are proof that simple, whole foods can be both delicious and satisfying!

Ingredients
1 cup red lentils, rinsed
1/2 cup psyllium husk
1/4 cup filtered water
1 1/2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp celtic salt
1/2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
3 tbsp, mixed seeds; poppy seeds, pumpkin seeds, flax seeds
Preparation
Step 1
Soak lentils in warm water for at least 2 hours. Drain lentils.
Step 2
Preheat oven on 180ºC. Line a baking tray with a silicone sheet.
Step 3
In a food processor, add lentils, psyllium husk, water, oil, baking soda and salt.
Step 4
Add apple cider vinegar last, this should react with the soda and immediately bubble. Process until a dough forms.
Step 5
Using wet hands, form the dough into bread rolls and place on the prepared tray.
Step 6
Sprinkle the seed mixture on top of each bun and slightly press down to allow the seeds to stick to the rolls.
Step 7
Bake for 25 minutes, or until golden.
Remove from the oven, allow to cool down for 15 minutes before slicing.
Enjoy 💕
