Say hello to this creamy, zesty hummus with a cheeky chilli twist.
It’s blended with lemon, garlic, tahini and cumin for that classic flavour, but topped with chilli and smoked paprika to level things up.
Perfect for spreading, dipping, dolloping—or just eating by the spoon (no judgement).

Ingredients
1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup tahini
1 small garlic clove
3 tablespoons extra virgin oil
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon celtic salt
a touch of chilli paste, add more for more heat
a dash of ground smoked paprika, for serving
drizzle extra virgin olive oil, for serving
sprinkle chilli flakes, for serving
Preparation
Step 1
Add chickpeas, lemon juice, tahini, garlic, olive oil, cumin, and salt to a high speed blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.
Step 2
Spoon the hummus into a serving bowl and use the back of a spoon to create a little swirl on top.
Step 3
Finish with a small spoon of chilli paste, a drizzle of olive oil, a dash of smoked paprika, and a sprinkle of chilli flakes for a spicy finish.
