About the Recipe

Simple and extremely tasty bar recipe you have to try before buying another bar from a store.
With no preservatives and only real ingredients; like ground flax, peanut butter, dried cranberries and wheat free oats, you’ll definitely taste the difference.

Ingredients

INGREDIENTS: BAR

  • 2 1/2 cups wheat free oats

  • 2 tbsp ground flax

  • 1 cup smooth peanut butter, or nut butter of choice

  • 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp maple syrup

  • 1/3 cup mini dark chocolate chips

  • 1/3 cup dried cranberries

  • Sprinkle, celtic salt

INGREDIENTS: CHOCOLATE

  • 1/4 cup cacao powder

  • 2 tbsp maple syrup

  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Preparation

Step 1

To a bowl, add the oats and flax, and stir until combined. Next, add the peanut butter and maple syrup. Stir until a thick "batter" is formed. 


Step 2

Gently stir in the chocolate chips and dried cranberries. 


Step 3

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, and transfer the batter to it. Using the bottom of a mug or another pan, pat the batter down until completely firm and evenly dispersed in the pan.


Step 4

Whisk the chocolate ingredients; cacao powder, maple syrup, coconut oil, and vanilla extract in a medium mixing bowl until well combined. Drizzle the chocolate over the mixture.


Step 5

Refrigerate for one hour to set.


Step 5

Once set, slice into bars.
