About the Recipe
Here’s your recipe for adorable and super tasty mandarin hearts perfect for Valentine’s Day!

Ingredients
2 mandarins, peeled
1/4 cup cacao powder
2 tbsp maple syrup
1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
Preparation
Step 1
Using scissors, carefully cut a diagonal line on each side of the mandarin slice, starting from the middle. This creates the “dip” at the top, forming a heart shape.
Step 2
Thread the mandarin slices onto skewers or sticks, ensuring they resemble hearts.
Step 3
In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the cacao powder, maple syrup, and melted coconut oil until smooth and well combined.
Step 4
Dip half of the mandarin hearts into the chocolate, ensuring they’re coated evenly, and place them on a lined silicone sheet.
Step 5
Drizzle the remaining chocolate over the other half of the mandarin hearts and place them on the silicone sheet as well.
Step 6
Transfer the sheet to the fridge for roughly 30 minutes, or until chocolate to set completely.
